Vibration Analysis Programs

Predictive Maintenance Technologies (PMT) excels in the area of vibration analysis with four Level 2 certified analysts and four Level 1 certified analysts and two more that will soon be level 1 analysts.  Our vibration analysts are not only well versed in basic vibration collection and analysis; but also regularly perform advanced bearing analysis, phase analysis, orbital analysis, and specialized resonance testing.

PMT's Walk-around Route Based Programs are the cornerstone of our vibration programs. PMT provides numerous programs with collection intervals ranging from monthly, to bi-monthly, to quarterly, to bi-annual, to annual.

Integrated Vibration Analysis Program

PMT's Integrated Vibration Based Programs have increased company reliability by integrating company personnel into the vibration collection process. An IVP allows plant/company personnel "face" time with their equipment to hear, smell, and listen to the equipment's operating condition.  PMT then performs the vibration analysis on the collected data, eliminating the companies need to have extensive vibration analysis training. 

Full-time Online Collection Program

PMT's full-time online collection programs continually set the mark for excellence in reliability performance. In 2001 PMT received the AISE's Reliability Achievement Silver Award for improvements in reliability in the steel and iron industry.  Since then PMT has worked with SKF online systems and recently partnered The Normandy Group to bring the affordable Commtest Online System to the reliability market.

PMT's new Vibration Mentoring Program assists customers in affordably starting their own vibration programs.  It is a custom designed training/ hands-on assistance program to take a maintenance group from no understanding of vibration to confident Level 1 vibration analysts in 12 to 18 months.
